HappilyVowed exists for one simple reason: most wedding inspiration is staged for styled shoots, with unlimited budgets, empty venues, and flowers that never have to survive a warm afternoon. We write for the rest of you. Our readers are planning real weddings: courthouse ceremonies and garden parties, barn receptions and restaurant buyouts, celebrations for thirty guests and for three hundred.

Who this is for

If you have a hundred saved pins and no idea which palette is actually yours, if your venue has rules about candles and confetti, or if your budget is a number you chose on purpose and intend to keep, you are our people. Our ideas assume real venues, real seasons, and real families, in roughly the proportions a wedding day actually contains.

How we choose ideas

Every guide on HappilyVowed has to pass three tests. Would it photograph beautifully in ordinary light, not just at golden hour? Can a couple actually pull it off with the vendors, time, and budget the guide assumes, with every shortcut honestly flagged? And does it still feel like the couple, rather than a copy of a stranger's wedding? Ideas that fail a test do not get published, however pretty they are.

A note on our images

Many of the weddings you will see here are AI-generated inspiration and planning visuals, created to show a color palette, a tablescape, or a mood as clearly as possible. They are illustrations of ideas, never photographs of a real wedding, a real couple, or a real product, and never a promise that a specific dress, bouquet, or venue looks a certain way. Where a guide depends on a real product, we say so and link to the retailer or maker so you can judge the real photos yourself. We would rather be honest about an image than impressive with one.
